World of Solitaire Status Update

Hiya everyone!

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in so long.
I've been pretty busy in 'real life' over the past few months. I met my first girlfriend ever about 2 years ago, and we are getting married in April! I'm also moving into a new place. So I've been pretty busy :)

Just wanted to give a quick update on World of Solitaire.

We've recently surpassed 100 million played hands. That's quite a milestone!
I run World of Solitaire for fun and so I can share fun with others, and I certainly think a lot of people out there are having fun :)

As far as updates to the World of Solitaire site, the #1 requested feature (BY FAR) is a Top 10 list of 'percent won'.
This is on the top of my to-do list.
To make room for this new list, I will probably cut the "Total Number Won" list from 25 to 10.

I'm not sure I'll be able to get it in before I get married as I'm busy packing, planning, etc.
I do however intend to try and accomplish it after I get back from the honeymoon :)

I hope that everyone out there is enjoying the games :)

I am enjoying your site! BUT! I like playing three shuffles and a draw, but I can't figure out how to draw! Can you help?

You'll need to learn how to play double handed solitaire. Is there such a thing?

I love this site and have won every game twice except Canfield. Now when I play the cards in the deck don't turn over and I have no way of knowing what the card is. Has this happened to anyone else?

I love this site and have won every game twice except Canfield. It seems that the deck of cards does not turn over a new card, even when it is moved to the tableau. Has this happened to anyone else?

@mamajean: Try going up to the 'Options' menu (located to the right of 'Background') and make sure that the 'Auto Flip Cards' option is on.

Also, you can try clearing your cache:
In Internet Explorer choose the menu Tools->Delete Browsing History and click the 'Delete files...' button.
In Firefox choose the menu Tools-> Clear Private Data. Ensure only ' Cache ' is selected and click OK.
In Safari choose the menu Edit->Empty Cache and click Empty.

If still no luck, my e-mail is robert@cosmicrealms.com

Robert, I knew that I appreciated your site...but one day, I was unable to locate your web page for some reason or another. It was my first panic attack in 67 years.

ok, like this is really weird ,a friend of mine was here fiddle-farting around and asked me how to get back to solitaire page. i showed her, blah blah blah , soon she went home now my solitaire deals out 9 piles in stead of 7. i've turned it off or out and it comes back 9 piles, usually two of them are same card. how do i get this undone?

@anonymous: Sound's like you have Double Klondike selected instead of just regular Klondike. Try re-selecting it from the Solitaire->Select Game... menu.
